SG&A Benchmarking ("we") provides outside-in organizational benchmarking to businesses. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
When you request a benchmark, we collect the details you submit: your name, work email, role, the company you represent, and the peer companies and scope you want benchmarked. We use this only to prepare your quote, deliver your engagement, and communicate with you about it. We do not sell it.
As you fill out the intake, we also record your progress and entries as you go, including partial information from intakes that are started but not submitted, so we can understand and improve the request experience and, where appropriate, follow up. Alongside this we record your approximate location (city and region) and a truncated form of your IP address, derived at our server; we do not store your full IP address with these records. You can ask us to delete any of this at any time using the contact below.
Our benchmarks are produced from public professional data about companies: public LinkedIn footprints, third-party firmographic databases such as ZoomInfo, and public regulatory filings such as SEC documents. We process this to produce aggregate, function-level headcount estimates. Our deliverables are organizational aggregates, not dossiers on individuals, and we do not compile or sell contact lists or sensitive personal data.
Submissions are stored with our infrastructure providers (for example, database and email services) solely to operate the service. We share information only with those service providers, and only as needed to run the service. We do not sell personal information.
This site uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising measurement. We use Google Tag Manager to load these tools, which may include Google Analytics, Google Ads, and the LinkedIn Insight Tag. They collect standard usage data (for example, pages viewed and whether you started or submitted a benchmark request) and set cookies that help us understand traffic and measure how our ads perform on platforms such as LinkedIn. These providers process that data under their own privacy policies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and where required we honor applicable opt-out signals.
We keep intake submissions and deliverables for as long as needed to serve you and to keep normal business records. You can ask us to delete your submission at any time.
